Would you employ this?

At the moment, as well as trying to keep this thing vaguely up to date, trying to write some articles for money at Helium, working 12 days in a row at Finchcocks, trying get down the gym a couple of times a week, doing my Christmas shopping, save money for Canada, organise my trip to Canada, trying to find time to visit friends - as well as all of this, I’m trying to start applying for jobs.  And I tell thee, it isn’t easy.

Firstly I need to get my CV in order.  It looks oh so impressive to me, but I just know it’s going to look pretty weak to any potential employers out there.  Degrees are a pound a dozen now and seem to impress no one, and apart from those all that’s holding my CV together is past supermarket work and a little spit and hope.  Graduate training schemes in publishing seem to be few and far between, and the competition particularly fierce.  So seeing as I’m pretty terrible at planning for the future in general, and a bit modest, as my friends could tell you, I’m struggling to sell myself to employers, juggle everything that needs doing at the moment, and trying to peer ahead into the future and juggle upcoming problems too.

Don’t suppose any readers out there just happen to be head of human resources in a big publishing house?  And happen to want to employ me?  No I didn’t think so.
